Business Unit - Coal

KCSR provides a vital link in the utility supply chain with daily coal train service between interchanging railroads and eight power-generating locations in the Midwest and south central U.S.  The major commodities handled by this business unit include unit coal, coal for industrial use, coal coke and petroleum coke.  KCSM does not handle coal trains.
