Intermodal shippers around the world are taking notice of KCSR's and KCSM's dedicated premium intermodal service from Lazaro Cardenas to Meridian, Mississippi with continuing service to eastern destinations on Norfolk Southern.  Lazaro Cardenas is providing shippers with a cost-effective and efficient alternative to other North American West Coast ports.

KCSR also provides premium intermodal service to customers on the “Meridian Speedway” line from Dallas to Meridian - the most direct and least-congested transcontinental line in the U.S.
